Welcome to First Baptist Nipomo!

We are a Gospel-centered community of believers who look to God’s Word for truth and guidance. We seek to encourage one another in love as we grow into maturity in our walk with Jesus. We desire to love our neighbors in tangible ways and share with them the life-transforming message of the Gospel. We are in year five of our replant journey and love seeing God at work in our church and community. We’re looking forward to having you join us this Sunday for a time in God’s Word, heartfelt worship and fellowship with one another. We offer Sunday school for kids and adults alike as well as other opportunities during the week to grow in God’s Word together.

ABBREVIATED STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe in the One true eternal Creator God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, belief on Christ’s finished work on the cross and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal separation from God and damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and in the establishment of the local church as the means through which we live out this unity.
